Our High-Tack Stickers with our Aggressive Adhesive are best for:
Hard-to-Stick Plastics (Low Surface Energy)
Standard adhesives often “bead up” on certain plastics, causing them to peel. Our high-tack, aggressive adhesive formula is designed specifically for:
-
Polypropylene & Polyethylene: Heavy-duty equipment cases (Pelican, SKB, Apache).
-
Blow-molded Plastics: Trash bins, water tanks, and portable restrooms. Our laminated stickers are designed for outdoor use onto these hard to stick surfaces.
-
Textured Surfaces: Kayaks, coolers (YETI/Rotomolded styles), textured powder coated steel.
Industrial & Construction Surfaces
Built to withstand grit, vibration, and heavy handling:
-
Powder-Coated Metals: Toolboxes, machinery frames, and racking systems where standard labels fail to grab the porous finish.
-
Painted Steel: Industrial pipes, ducting, and outdoor electrical boxes are all great candidates for our materials.
-
Engines & Small Motors: Lawnmowers, generators, and construction lifts – keep your business running smoothly with high-tack stickers made to record service intervals, advertise your business, or log equipment with our custom numbering on each label.
- Plastic Trash Cans / Bins: Our stickers apply great to large plastic trash cans with the outdoor durability to label your cans and last outside for years.
- Heavy Machinery and Equipment: Our large format printing abilities onto our custom high-tack materials allow us to make your stickers large enough to be created, applied and advertise your business for years outdoors.
Professional Environments
- AV & Film Production: Road cases, camera bodies, lighting kits, and battery packs are a great place to apply our high-tack stickers.
- Logistics & Warehousing: Warehouse equipment marking, pallet racks, and forklift ID tags. Send us an excel file showing your data and we can use it on your high-tack stickers.
- IT & Server Management: Textured server racks and textured plastic computer chassis – add QR codes, numbering, or we can simply produce your logo for custom labeling these surfaces.
What surfaces do your high-tack stickers apply best to?
Our high-tack stickers are engineered to grip where standard labels fail. They bond permanently to low surface energy (LSE) plastics like Pelican and rugged equipment cases, water bottles, and plastic hard hats. They are equally effective on challenging industrial surfaces, including powder-coated metals, heavy machinery, painted steel, or any clean, lightly textured surface that requires an aggressive, long-lasting hold.
How to install our stickers to a Plastic Surface
1. Prep the Surface (The Most Important Step)
Pelican cases often have a microscopic layer of “mold release” or oils from your hands.
-
Clean it: Use a lint-free cloth and Isopropyl Alcohol (70% or higher).
-
Scrub: Don’t just wipe; give the area a good scrub.
-
Dry: Let it air dry completely. If the surface feels “chalky” or extra grippy, you’ve done it right.
2. The Application
-
Apply: Peel and stick from one edge and press firmly to the other to avoid air bubbles. The adhesive will bond to the surface and the sticker will stay applied. Our high-tack white material is incredibly sticky and designed for low energy plastic surfaces.
3. The “Set” Period
-
Cure time: Do not take the sticker out into the cold or rain immediately. Let the adhesive “cure” at room temperature for at least 24 hours.

-
Commercial Capabilities: We are a fully equipped, professional sign shop. No matter how complex or large your project is, we have the advanced equipment and materials to deliver exactly what you need.
What resolution should my artwork files be?
Recommended Version (Clean & Scannable)
Photoshop (Raster Files): We recommend designing your file at 600+ DPI and at double the physical size you need your stickers made.
Illustrator / Corel Draw (Vector Files): Design your artwork to the exact target size. You can optionally add a 1-point cyan cut line to show your preferred shape, or leave it blank and our team will draw the cut line for you at no extra cost.
Color Profiles & Formats: Files can be designed in either CMYK or RGB modes. Please submit high-resolution, print-ready files in
.AI,.EPS,.PNG,.JPG, or.TIFformats.
How should I set up my artwork files?
Submit your artwork to us exactly as you want it to look when it’s a completed sticker. Do not worry about adding in bleeds, safe areas or following any specific templates. We can cut to any shape and size. We operate incredibly accurate cutting equipment and if we need anything other than what you’ve submitted, we’ll let you know during the quoting process. If you have a specific shape that you want us to use, add in a 1 point cyan cut line in Illustrator or Corel Draw.
What is the minimum order amount for small and large sizes?
We have a minimum Order of 50 stickers for stickers that are under a 6″ x 6″ size. For sizes over 6″ x 6″ in size, we can generally produce less than 25 stickers per image. Start with our Free Quote Form and get your project started!
What custom numbering options are available?
We’re able to produce each sticker with a different number on each sticker, these numbers can be consecutive or random. This will give each sticker a unique identifier which is perfect for identification of vehicles, unique product labels, or parking passes. Your stickers will arrive to you stacked in order, ready to be applied. We only need one artwork file (mention the font used for numbering) showing where you want the number to be placed.
Can we write on our labels with a Sharpie?
Yes, all of our stickers can be written on with a Sharpie marker! The laminate on our stickers allow the Sharpie to dry quickly and not rub off too easily.
Please note, with enough pressure and effort, the Sharpie markings can eventually be rubbed off. If your stickers will see a lot of direct wear and tear, we recommend adding as many elements as possible into your actual sticker design.
What laminates are available for High-Tack Stickers?
High-Tack White Vinyl:
-
Base Material: Premium White Vinyl with our specialized high-tack, super aggressive adhesive applied, for a super tacky, hard to remove sticker that stays applied. This adhesive isn’t needed for standard applications such as car windows. We only recommend this material for plastic and surfaces that are slightly textured like powdercoated metal, painted plywood wood, etc.
-
Color Options: Your artwork determines the output, we have no limits on your artwork in terms of drop shadows, full color, etc. You design it, we can print it. If we spot an issue where a font could be too small for your sticker size, we’ll let you know.
-
Protective Finish is always applied: Multiple laminate options are available to determine the final look, feel and thickness of your stickers.
-
Precision Cutting: Our Digital “no-die” precision cutting follows your exact artwork cut path for any custom size and shape. We can use the cut line in your vector file or we can draw in the cut line for you at no cost. You tell us the look you prefer when receiving your Free Quote and we’ll handle the rest!
Laminates Available:
- 2.75 mil Gloss Laminate: Makes all colors pop and gives your sticker a high-gloss finish. We apply a gloss laminate to every sticker unless a different finish is requested.
- 2.75 mil Matte Laminate: Eliminates all glare and shine. While some colors may appear slightly less vibrant than with a gloss finish, it delivers a clean, professional, and modern look.
- 6 mil Textured Laminate: Gives the sticker a tougher, more substantial feel. Once applied to the vinyl, the sticker reaches a total thickness of approximately 9 mil. It features a distinct tactile texture with a luster level between matte and gloss.
- Silver Glitter Laminate: A gloss laminate that features a fine silver dust that sparkles in the light. The glitter effect is embedded in the laminate to provide a unique sparkle without being overbearing. The surface remains smooth. This finish is perfect for creating eye-catching stickers for security applications, like parking passes, or simply giving your design a custom edge.
Will your stickers apply to Plastic Trash Cans and Recycling Bins?
Yes, our heavy-duty high-tack stickers are engineered to bond directly with polyethylene plastic trash cans, low surface energy (LSE) plastics for recycling bins, and other challenging surfaces. They work perfectly for outdoor branding, service tracking labels, or company logos. Whether you need a simple one-color design or vibrant, full-color artwork, we can precision-cut your stickers to any custom shape and size to withstand the elements.
What surface prep do you recommend for High-Tack Stickers?
For the best results, give the area a firm scrub with a lint-free cloth and Isopropyl Alcohol (70% or higher), let it dry completely, and then apply the sticker. For maximum outdoor durability, let the adhesive cure at room temperature for about 24 hours before exposing the bin to heavy rain, extreme cold, or rough handling.
